Memoir on Shelves Tuesday

I find this as an inspiring story. DioGuardi writes about being molested and how that has affected her. I think the book may help others and give an insight to what rape and sexual assault do to others.

Former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi has revealed she was date raped by a 'fairly known producer' ten years ago. The 40-year-old songwriter writes about her painful experience in forthcoming autobiography A Helluva High Note, where she reveals the music producer forced himself on her after a dinner out.

In her upcoming memoir, "A Helluva High Note," the songwriter and former "American Idol" judge reveals that she was molested as a child, date raped by a famous record producer and sexually harassed by a "hugely successful artist."
DioGuardi first endured sexual abuse at age 11 at the hands of a male family friend.
